A Perfect Summer Day at Château Morritt

Updated: Aug 11

Located on the shores of Lac Moore and just minutes from Mont-Tremblant, Château Morritt is the kind of place where summer slows down in all the right ways. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, here’s what a perfect summer day could look like.

8:00 AM – Light breakfast and a walk

Wake up and grab a quick bite at Le Club Morritt, or settle in with coffee on your balcony. Then head out for a walk…there are plenty of nearby trails or you can wander into the Mont-Tremblant village to browse shops or just take it all in.

10:00 AM – Start on the water

After your walk, take out a paddleboard, kayak, or pedal boat (complimentary for all guests) and enjoy the calm lake before the day picks up. It’s a simple way to start your day grounded (and maybe snap a few great photos while you’re at it).

12:30 PM – Lunch at Le Club Morritt

Midday is made for the terrace. Le Club Morritt serves lunch daily, with crowd favourites like tempura shrimp tacos, calamari, and fresh salads. Add a glass of wine or a mocktail and take your time.

2:00 PM – Explore the Pedestrian Village (Tremblant Station)

After lunch, why not take some time to explore the nearby Pedestrian Village? There is free public transportation available just outside our resort that will take you to the mountain free of charge. You can enjoy a day shopping, exploring, and spending your time in one of the most popular international destinations in North America!

3:00 PM – Choose your pace

Spend the afternoon however you like. You can rent a bike and explore the P’tit Train du Nord trail, one of the most scenic in the region. Or keep it low-key with a visit to the spa, a swim, or a quiet hour with a book by the lake.

5:00 PM – Happy Hour

Every day from 3–6 PM, Le Club Morritt offers happy hour specials on drinks and finger food. It’s a great way to unwind after a busy afternoon or just enjoy the view with something cold in hand.

8:00 PM – Wind down

End the day around the firepit or take an evening stroll by the lake. However you close it out, there’s something nice about ending your day where it started, outside, relaxed, and a little off the grid.
